Oly's moved to Sydney, the day before he left we had one last sesh at Woolys.
It was pretty much the one of the craziest days at Woolys I've ever seen
mad crew, red bull girls, musical bums, blunts and urine- the works.
Spoons was having so much fun he manifested a side kick- Sticks.
They had ghetto beat/harmonic battles and drank port. It was pretty fucking amazing.
Frodo did some pictures as well. I had a little jam with Sticks on guitar.
Say my name.
Then another musical bum wandered in from the cold, a very cheerful Maori woman who sang songs on guitar while Spoons spooned along. The bums melted away when the sun set and we all went to Taka's to Farewell the O-man. Have a good time over there mate PEACE GOD!

De La Soul 09

More haggard drawings from the dance floor.
There was heaps of crew in the bar when we got there, had a few drinks then got a good spot for Cut Chemist who was supporting with fat beats and a sick visual show.
I thought it would be Coco who would upset my drink as she lumbered through the crowd like an epileptic, but sabotage came from another quarter.
De La are still dope, I thought the band was good and the sound was alright.
I've heard other people say they weren't living, but I had a good time.

I live for Black Sheep, so I was stoked when Dres busted out for a few tracks.
Then it was over
And then

Yallingup

Phuong booked us a surprise weekend down south in Yallingup. We drove down Friday morning with Frodo's shitty surfboard wedged between us.
Yallingup is a beautiful, sleepy country town, we stayed in a nice little cabin thing that I neglected to take any photos of. The caravan-park we stayed in is across the road from the beach. Here's Phuong soaking up the salty atmosphere.
For a novice like me the waves down there are freaking massive! Still, I had to give it a bash so I suited up and went out.....
Turns out there's a limestone reef out there in the water that I was unaware of. I think my mistake lay in trying to paddle too early because all the water sucked out into the next swell leaving me straddled on dry reef and at the mercy of the wave, which bounced me all over the rocks and broke my grim resolve. Self preservation took over and I made for sweet, sweet land.
So happy was I to be back on solid ground I longed to get deep within it, so we went to Ngilgi Cave the next day which is near to Caves house; a pub/hotel where we later had lunch.
And then what? I drew, wrote, drank beer and slept alot when the sun went down.
