Retrospective

Well, all good things come to an end, including this trip. Here's some flicks we couldn't put up before due to the chinese government's shitty censorship ot the internet and information in general..... While I'm recompressing to life at home Oly's still out in the field, so here's a couple shot of the O-man to kick things off.....

Every now and again you find a spot that makes you wonder- What the fuck were they thinking when they made this, Lets build a giant pyramid with a dome in it? Unquestionably the most fun spot ever. There's nothing to referance size to in this picture, but let me assure you it's massive.
Stumbled onto this spot on the way to the train-o it was a block from our place. There's more of these wavey blocks of differing sizes than you can shake a skateboard at.
The general consensus is that Bowser and Berrell would tear this spot up. No doubt the Hom would be living too
Oly broke this virgin ledge off some with a nose slide, I was too lazy too take a photo of the trick itself, I was busy soaking the heat from the ground like a disabled lizard.
Photos of skating, what is this? It's the O-man grinding what I would call one of the best ledges in the world.
This board has been manipulated to show the exact curvature of my spine and marks the end of our skating in china.
Now that I'm gone Oly's eating for two. Oly quote " the only differance between a good hair cut and a bad one is two weeks" How many weeks has it been now?

storm warning

Been stuck inside for a couple days as a typoon (or cyclone) hit the coast near near, nearly blowing Hong Kong off the map. Still no pictures due to the shitty internet here so you'll just have to use your imagination.......

As I said the net is fucked here so no photos, also my back has given up the race.
The old body couldn't handle the pace, so myb no more skating for a while....

after montreal i was supposed to go and play poker (and this time i was gunna win) but the game got canceled, so instead i went and watched the new animated starwars movie... it was terrible, in fact if i could think of a word worse than terrible id use that. i had some screen shots of yoda and people eating popcorn that i was gunna put up, but the guy at the theatre confiscated my camera and made me delete the pics.

i salvaged the night by going and watching another movie at the new dirty south house, this one was much better.


the movie was too long for mira and rupe.. the highlight of this picture is the way mira holds her booze like a baby holds a teddy bear.

Holiday drawing

One of the best things about holidays is having time to write and draw, as well as having interesting things to write and draw about.

A day off skating

This is the main tourist strip in an area called the bund. It's crowded and full of husslers, vendors, tourists and cops, walking through there is crazy so much bussle. It's fairly interesting on the harbour front.

Skating hard or hardly skating?

This is the main spot where the locals hang out. Some of them are fucking amazing! For us classicly trained Woolys guys this spot is a fond reminder of home. It's harder to skate than it looks, the joints in the blocks are worn out, the locals make it look easy tho...

Keeping it Krause- the jesus grind goes international.

Trains are our main mode of transport they are crowded and full of weirdos. Like us.... It's not considered rude to stare people down for 20min here, everywhere we go it's like they've never seen a white man before.
